Spain in winter

How to extend your vacation and enjoy plenty of sunshine?

TLDR – Come to Spain because it’s only a 3-hour flight from your home! ?

Longer version: The temperature is around 28-30 degrees in the sun, and when it cools down with clouds, it drops to 25 degrees ?. The daylight hours are much longer! Let’s assume that if you wake up at 8:00 a.m., the sun is just waking up, so it doesn’t get dark until after 8:00 p.m. But that doesn’t stop you from entering the still warm sea (even after sunset).

Regarding the sea, swimming in the ocean or pool is always recommended, with warm water. And for those who enjoy activities like surfing or stand-up paddleboarding, it’s also a very attractive time. The sun shines brilliantly on the beach all the time.

October is already considered off-peak season. It’s low season, which means fewer people, cheaper car rentals, and most importantly, lower flight prices.

When visiting tourist attractions, there are far fewer people, and in most cases, no queues or reservations required. So you can explore without rush or crowds. It’s almost as if the tourist attractions are open just for you.

Restaurants and bars are all open as if it were high season. And on top of that, I had the impression that prices dropped after the peak season. You might ask, “How did they drop?” Yes, because you don’t feel inflation in Spain. Maybe gasoline is a bit more expensive, but still at a similar level to Poland.

And finally, the grand finale – flights. As you can imagine, flights are much cheaper than during the peak holiday season. But there are still plenty of people eager to fly to Spain, as the planes are usually full.
